Collaborate with your group
Invite companions, assign roles, vote, comment, and stay in sync.
Invite companions
- Open the trip member / invite controls.
- Create an invite and choose:
- access — anyone with the link, or restricted to listed emails;
- role —
editororviewerfor people who join through this link; - can invite — whether new members may create further invites;
- expiry — when the link stops working.
- Share the link only with people joining the trip.
Invite links grant access to the shared workspace. Do not post them publicly. Regenerate a link if it may have leaked.
For role meanings, see Roles and permissions.
Vote on stops
Editors can toggle a vote on a stop to signal interest. Votes are trip-local — use them to see which options the group prefers before locking the day.
Comment in context
Add comments on a stop when the discussion belongs to that place. Mention a
teammate with @Name when they need to respond. Mention @agent when you want
the AI companion to answer in that stop’s thread.
Keep notes attached to the day, stop, reservation, or expense they belong to. That is easier to revisit than a long free-form chat history.
Watch live updates
When another member saves a change, connected sessions receive a realtime update and refresh the affected parts of the trip. Member presence shows who is currently in the planner.
If a change does not appear, refresh before repeating the same edit. Realtime keeps the group aligned; it is not a substitute for agreeing on decisions in comments or chat.
