What travelogues are today

Travelogues let you write moments — optionally linked to a trip or stop — in an editorial article view with draft and published filters on this device.

This surface is a frontend preview. Entries are stored locally in the browser (or WebView) for your account on that device. Account sync, sharing permissions, server publication, and live article Q&A are not shipped yet.

Open Travelogues

From the home hub, open Travelogues (bottom navigation on mobile). You can:

• browse draft and published entries;
• open an entry in the reader;
• start a new entry from the composer.

Write an entry

1. Open the composer (full-height sheet on mobile).
2. Add a title and Markdown body. Heading levels H1–H5 are supported.
3. Optionally link the entry to a journey or leave it unlinked.
4. From a stop detail action, you can start an entry with the stop title and trip association already filled.
5. Use the /map travel block when you want a compact map widget for the linked trip inside the article.

Images and supported attachments use trip media storage when the entry is linked to a trip. Keep drafts on the device until you are ready to mark them published in the local preview.

Read and filter

The reader presents the article view. Use draft and published filters to find work in progress versus finished notes. On mobile, the section rail may hide so the article stays one continuous column.

Important limits

• Do not assume another device or teammate can see your entries.
• Clearing site data removes local travelogue drafts.
• Excerpt-based answers in the preview stay local; they are not a live model backend.

When server-backed travelogues ship, this page will describe the new sync and sharing behavior explicitly.
