Set your current place
Choose a city or region for Today. OpenTrip remembers the selection for your account on this device and uses it for local weather. Prefer naming the place yourself instead of relying on background location permission.
Check the weather
Today shows current conditions for the place you selected. Inside a trip, day planning can also use weather context so the group sees whether outdoor stops still make sense.
Weather is advisory. Confirm opening hours, alerts, and travel advisories from primary sources before you change locked bookings.
Prepare or reflect
From Today you can:
- jump into an upcoming trip to finish the plan;
- capture a moment in a travelogue;
- revisit a trip that recently ended.
